About the Los Angeles Auto Show
The Los Angeles Auto Show is the last major U.S. auto show in 2012 and features a number of world debuts, including the new Subaru Forester, Mazda6 and Volkswagen Beetle Convertible in addition to the presentation of the Green Car of the Year award. Taking place at the Los Angeles Convention Center, the L.A. show is open to the public from Friday, November 30, to Sunday, December 9. Only 100 cars were on display at the first auto show in Los Angles back in 1907, but for 2012, more than 1,000 cars, trucks and SUVs will be on hand, with a wide range of vehicles from fuel-efficient hybrids to high-performance supercars. Many one-of-a-kind concept cars will also be featured.
