Vehicles most stolen are those left in front of a store with the engine running while idiot owner runs a quick errand.

Wow, who would want to steal a Cobalt? That's a shitty car according to reviews.

I like how they say the 2009 Charger has a 470 horse 6.4, when that engine didn't come out till 2011. Articles posted to MSN Autos should be fact checked by someone who actually knows about cars before publication.

If someone wants to steal a car or anything, they will find a way. some crooks would steal sugar out of a cookie if they could.

Stop leaving your doors unlock, motors running etc. which gives easy entry. We live in a gated community and some of the teens, new to our community,  were taking all sorts of things out of all types of cars American and foreign made. Some were locked and most had windows down/doors unlocked. This shows everyone out there, you can not hide from crime,

Gates, street patrols etc will not stop a crook when they want to steal. Use common sense, don't make it easy, we work too hard for what little we do have, and for someone to take whatever from anyone is horrible.  We were raised to respect others and if it was not ours to take DO not touch it.

Notice that there are NO German cars....reason being they are not easy to steal. If you noticed, most of the cars are American and Japanese (American also) and maybe they should look at making it harder to steal.

Why you should care what cars are most stolen is that's a lot of what determines your insurance rates!

None of these cars would rank in The Top 25 on my "high priority list to steal".  Yawn.

its not really the car itself that gets stolen its the parts, a car thats not listed is the Nissan Sentra and they steal the navigation card and the drivers side airbag.

Who cares what cars theives steal. Does that mean you won't buy a certain model of car because it's attractive to scumbag crooks? Or does that mean you will buy certain cars because social miscreants, and parasitic scum like them? If that's the case, take the bus.
