2015 Lincoln Navigator

Can Lincoln's redesign of its Navigator both keep the faithful and challenge the dominance of the Cadillac Escalade in the luxury SUV segment?

I used to owned a 1998 when they first came out. This is another square design failure for Ford. Although I like the house that they pick as the background. lol

Sorry, I just threw-up in mouth. They have to be joking. It looks like the original Ford Explorer from 1995-ish with a modifed front grille. Who whould buy this? I know Ford/Lincoln can do better than this....right?

Seriously - I have a 2001 Navigator that looks except for the shark face front end (looks like crap) is almost exactly the same as the 2014......surely a company as good as Ford can come up with something better.....ditto for the Lincoln sedans......if I wanted a shark face on the front end of my car, I would fish for one.

It has yet to sink in why FoMoCo wanted to start a Lincoln Truck Division (LTD).  When I was growing up Lincoln was a luxury automobile division and Mercury, now defunct, had stopped making trucks.  During those years Lincoln made some very fine and some very forgettable cars, one of my all time favs was and is the "56" Continental Mark II, a car of simple grace and luxury.  It is the opinion of this wahtosh that FoMoCo should ditch the LTD and concentrate on building the best luxury automobiles in the country.  They should have three models to choose from, the first is a well optioned base model that can be further optioned as the buyer might like up to full boat luxo.  The second is the Town car with of course all the amenities.  And last but not least introduce a new model called the Zephyr that would be the most awesome sports luxury coupe on four wheels and able to rip the doors off any Cadillac out there.  There is an saying that goes something like "don't think about it, just do it", well Ford "just do it"!!!
