I have a 2005 Toyota Sienna. It has had 7 RECALLS on it. It is the worst car I have ever owned. Why don't you ask real people what they think. The van only has 27,000 miles on it. The power roof has also failed and they won't cover the repair because it is out of time warranty. They offered me $1,000 toward the repair which costs $2800.00. The roof leaks and won't close properly. I had never even opened the roof and it started to leak. When I tried to open it, it was frozen shut. They checked it out at the dealers expense and found that the cables that pull the roof open were twisted in manufacturing, but would cover it all because it was out of time warranty.

This van is total garbage.

You would not believe all of the parts that have been replaced in this thing.

I have recently received another recall-check. If you are having a problem with your power doors not opening, bring it in for a check. If nothing is wrong, it costs you $50 for a service charge. Another warranty extension came in extending certain engine problems to 150,000 miles or sometime in 2015.

This is a handicap van which was purchased for reliability. It is a nightmare.

WAKE UP AMERICANS!! Buy the cars and trucks that are best for OUR economy!! USA Today just ran an article and listed the top 10 "American" cars based on where they are made, how much American content is in them and the top sales numbers. These three things combined are what decides how "American" a car is and which ones are best for our economy. Here's the top ten:

1) Toyota Camry
2) Ford F-150
3) Honda Accord
4)Toyota Sienna
5)Honda Pilot
6)Chevy Traverse
7) Toyota Tundra
8) Jeep Liberty
9) Acadia
10) Buick Enclave

Now let's listen to the claims of USA Today being on the Japanese payroll as well!! Oh, US News ran a similar article with similar results, they must be on the take too. How can Honda and Toyota afford to pay off soooo many organizations? Wow!
Sooner or later you nay sayers are going to have to accept that the Japanese building cars here is great for our country and are doing more for our country than many domestic offerings. OR, keep living a life of denial, it's up to you. Those that simply choose to not accept the truth and would like to continue to keep their heads in the sand when it comes to what is good for our economy, please click on the thumbs down symbol now.

For women we tend to go for what we feel is safe and realiable. Sure, we like all the bells and whistles  the luxury cars give just like the next guy.

I also prefer to buy American made cars.  Last year I bought a 2011 Chevy Camaro RS.  The car is built in Montreal (Canada?) the engine is built in Mexico City? the Transmission is built in France?.  The only part of my "American" car is the seat cushions, but then they are not specified in the manual, so maybe China would be a good guess.  Try as I may to buy American, what I get is a car that is outsourced, just like everything else.  I guess the bailout really helped out, everyone but Americans.

I will take my Dodge Ram over any of that Jap-Crap.  I mean really a Prius, I would rather drive my mountain bike to work.

surely you could walk out to the nearest parling lot and find a New Hyundai sonata.  i have issues with a story that uses last generation pics.  and your Ford Ranger?  its a nissan in Suzuki trappings.  your photo editor is truly horrendous.  do a better job.

How does Cammaro merit dependability award? It was discontinued and has a history for poor build, bad service and Gas pig, uncomfortable! J.D. Powers has a history of awarding cars like Oldsmobile, Pontiac and many other defunct cars!   Simple: J.D. Powers is for sale!

Not surprising, the Dodge Grand Caravan did not make the list.  I suspect, however, when the 10 MOST UNDEPENDABLE list is published, the DGC will probalby take up all 18 spots!
