Did I miss something?  The article's title is "12 Best Resale Value Cars, 2012".  There were 12 slides, first and last were not vehicles.  Which means, there were only 10 vehicles.

This list is not garbage. It makes sense. Lots of these cars have just had a model refresh. Accord isn't on this list because it is 3 years old style aside with Honda's recent reliability issues, and the Camry...well stapling a body kit on a 7 year old model does not make it "all new".

SUBARU.  The one quiet little car company that has not had major recalls, whose customer loyalty is epic, and who continued to show growth during the worst part of the recession.  I have had Pontiacs, Hondas, Dodges, Buicks, and none of them come near the reliability and drivability of my SUBARU.

...and to billccc you are an IDIOT.  Assuming women know nothing about cars shows you know nothing about women.  I do all my own repairs except the major things that require machining.  And most certainly can drive circles around your pathetic behind.

...and for all those who said ricers_suck is likely racist: seems more likely s/he owns a HARLEY.  We call all the little Asian bikes rice burners or crotch rockets.  Hence, ricers_suck.

It sure would be nice for a change if someone that actually knew what they were talking about would write these articles. I sell cars for a living and I can tell you right now that the article is right about 2 of these vehicles.....

I looked nationwide for 3 yrs. for a 06 Pontiac GTO.   I finally found one a year ago.  The retail price on it has gone up.  Fast cars always hold their resale value better then other cars.

What about the Honda Civic and Accord? For years they had the highest resale values on the market. Why aren't they listed?

This list is a joke!!  The Ford Focus is on there at three year resale of 63% and five year of 45%.  We all know that a Focus is only worth 50% of the msrp when NEW.  Those cars have always been throw aways........in the same category as Hyundai Accent, Kia Rio, Cnevy Cobalt.  Once you're done with it, no one wants it, so you throw it away.

Ricers_Stink

Judging from your name, you are a racist.  I buy what is recommended by people I know and reviews by owners.  Hence I wouldn't buy certain vehicles such as a Dodge Caravan because I know 3 people who has one and everything started going wrong on them and they are only about 3 years old.  I your post is about yourself, you racist a$$
