Are you crazy??? Six vehicles made by Toyota....the most recalled manufacturer in history, and the only manufacturer to pay over a BILLION in fines to the government for trying to cover up manufacturing and design flaws from the public! And one of the choices is the Sequoia! A vehicle with such a flawed frame that Toyota is forced to replace most of them due to rust and rot, making it completely unsafe in an accident! Toyota may have been excellent once, but those days are LONG GONE! Then you choose the Audi A6 that has some of the worst reliability and highest maintenance costs of any vehicle in the world. Wonderful! Follow that up with a VW TDI that is a great vehicle but is in such short supply that most people won't be able to get one. Who compiled this list?

The C&D best drivers list is interesting to compare to her list . Only 2 cars are on both list , Ford Focus and Audi A6. C&D which actually drives and test all the cars on the list pick Mustang over Camaro ,Honda and Mazda over Toyota. I guess the list depends on what defines best. When it comes to picking autos I'LL stick with C&D over Kiplinger every time.

The 2013 Jetta TDI is an ugly duck---- which when placed beside the 2013 newly redesigned
Beetle a great looking car with more pizzaz and git-up-&-go than any Jetta....especially when placed side by side---compare the Moon Rock Moon roof Beetle TDI with 30% tint to the Jetta as pictured----no contest----- You folks are just a bit LED crazy....Add the beige interior and new instrument- pack on the redesigned dash layout, instead of being struck with the heat-sink grey or black---the Beetle TDI has it all over the Jetta.

I find it interesting that in nearly everyone of these so called "best car list", the only one remaining, really true American manufacturer is upsurped by all the foreign manufactures......but these writers take their lead from our top politicians who also think America is second class.......
