After owning 6 dealerships (as a majority or minority stockholder), I can tell you that after 35 years in the business, I've learned that buyers (across the board- economy or luxury) pay very LITTLE ATTENTION to these awards. Contrary to Kiplengers belief , their "opinions" mean very little and have virtually no impact on a buyers decision to buy a particular brand,or model. People recognize these awards are no more than an needed "ego stroke" for the mfrs.
Real bad choices. MPG bad on most, sticker price on the rest. Get real!
Best in class? This class took the short bus.
What could be the ulterior motive for such weak picks that miss the mark in almost every category?
Do those voting own stock in said companies, or what?
