i can see pedestrians by myself, i don't need my car talking to another one, i don't need radar because i have this cool evolutionary thing called eyes. give me a comfy good-sized car that looks nice, sounds nice, and gets me from A to B with as little gas as possible. if you can give me an SUV with all of these special add-on things starting at $20k then go for it, but i know it will start at more like $40k.

Too much crap on cars already and, as far as flying, most people can't drive on the ground. Flying would not be a good idea.

Not much of a goal considering the Honda Civic got over 60 mpg on the highway back in the late 70's on through the year 2000... maybe beyond... this with no electric or hybrid...

I don't believe any of it; like Villian157 said, we were told back in the 70s that we'd have flying cars by the 2000...AND we'd be in an ice age.  Guess what, I didn't have to land my car at work today and it was almost 70 degrees!

Why is there not a single word about Natural Gas (CNG) Cars. They are far superior to electric cars (EVs), are cheaper, 30% cleaner than gasoline, even cleaner than Evs that are powered with coal generating stations. Europe has over a million private CNG vehicles already.  Built by, guess who, Ford, Chrysler (Fiat), Mercedes, VW, Volvo and GM (Opel). We have a 100 year supply of natural gas right below our feet that would get us off of foreign oil. It is also cheap and drives every size vehicle from compacts to large busses with the same engines we have today and simple technology. Wake up America and use our home grown fuel.  With safe practices drilling technology it can be done safely and ecologically.  This is the real technology that could create jobs, improve our economy, our national security and help avoid $4 or $5 gas in our future.

Uhh!! wow what a wack post lol. This article showed nothing special, it mentioned 1 or 2 things that current cars dont have and reviewed 6-7 things that some cars are already equipped with or people can buy and install into their cars, great pic in the front of the article to make people feel like thats the future of automotive technology, but in reality MSN this article really blows
