I was expecting to read about 10 light sporty cars, that's far from what I got. Most of the cars in this list pack the punch of a 6 year old girl!
Smart for two? I think my 10 speed is faster 0 to 60?
What about cars like the Fiat 500 Abarth, Mazda 3 speed, Subaru WRX, or Ford Focus ST. Just to name a few. All light Fun Sporty cars. How can you have a BMW on this list that dose not ware an M badge?
And the Toyota Avalon? It's not sporty even if yor 90! In that weight class what about the Taurus SHO or Dodge Challenger?
Matthew de Paula wanted to be an automotive journalist ever since reading his first car magazine in grade school.
He should have left it there. He obviously does not consuder any american brands at all and he expects us to pay him....MSN you really need to start being an american company...you really stink
I don't want to seem like I'm MSN bashing but I'm a huge fan of car topic articles and I have slowly come to realize that my perception is there is some serious anti-Chrysler product in your articles. This one is a good example. . .seriously. . .no mention of the Dodge Dart!? Extremely affordable and from what I've read. . .well equipped with luxury appointments usually reserved for. . .luxury cars. Just sayin'. . .yesterday was all about dis'n RAM pickups. . .today Dart omission.
The media has a real blind spot when it comes to American made cars. Ford, Chrysler and GM have cars that should top this list, but there is a bias against cars made in this country. It may be based on crap cars built in Detroit during the 70s (30 to 40 years ago) or it might be an anti-union stance. In either case it hurts every single American everytime a foriegn car is bought here.
