They need a friggin' APP that won't allow you to use the phone if it's moving more than 1mph !

HANG UP THE PHONE AND PAY ATTENTION TO THE ROAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

So just yesterday I saw in the news that an 18 year old going 80 mph, and texting on facebook, rams into a tanker (without braking at all) and dies instantly. Then the very next day, this article. I can only hope that something will be done to stop using things in the car that you shouldn't be using while driving, not make even more. Oh, and its great to be able look ahead and see that there are no speed traps, then everyone can drive 80 and get themselves or someone else killed.

Unbelievable !! More uses for a phone while a vehicle is in operation. I think the solution is that auto makers should put jamming devices in their cars from now forward and phones have a motion sensor over 5-7 mph (tied to GPS) that doesn't allow usage. Bluetooth could be the exception.  If your walking you can still use your phone.

If the vehicle is equipped with Bluetooth, dialing is only allowed while the car is at a stop. That should do it..

How could anyone think that more "apps" for your phone while you are supposed to be driving are a good idea??
Jeez...

I have to agree with these posts. Why in hell is someone making apps to be used in cars. Don't we have enough distractions now, and you know that most of the people who are going to use these things have the least driving experience.

In the first place the person driving should be doing just that!.....DRIVING! instead of looking at the friggen phone..Cant you people unplug from them damned Iphones? for a moment while you DRIVE!  And my second point is that your car ALREADY comes with most of these gauges built into the dash! You paid more for those gauges that that phone I assure you.~Silly Human Race

This story explains why they have to outlawed.  Its bad enough that drivers don't pay attention to the road now with these things, so just give them more reasons to be distracted and end up killing themselves or someone else.

While the DMV spends millions on commercials to get people to stop looking at and using their smart phones while driving, some moron prints this article encouraging more phone usage on the road?? Duh?
I don't have one app on my phone. Why would I need one? Phones are for talking only! Suprise all you sheep that I am not on facebook either!  I drive with a GPS on my windsheild. I turn my on silent and put it in my glove box until I safely reach my destination. Its called being responsible! Grow up and turn your phone off when you drive.   Its my life you could be taking idiot!

Here's a great idea...put your phone, your ipod,  ipad, and anything else down and concentrate on driving...
