Stop Allowing Ridiculous Car Prices!

The American people should demand car prices to be slashed in half!  Do you realize the markup on these vehicles???

C'mon!

Quit paying out the exorbitant prices for this cheap and usually recycled scrap metal and fake glass!

Absurd!  No wonder our kids have no money today when their parents are leaving nothing but higher prices and poor quality products to show for it.

Get some backbone and stand up for your rights.

The car industry has been raking in trillions of dollars every year watching all of you slave away at our menial jobs laboring to pay these pieces of crap off for up to 20 years!

What the hell is wrong with you all that you cannot speak against such ludicrous acts by these charlatans!

The Smart car does not get better gas mileage than all the other cars listed.

Jessica Anderson, I realize Kiplingers just subscribes to insurance data and regurgitates this back to the public, but this list is bogus. There is one car that you failed to mention that gets better mileage than anything on your list and only cost $540/year to insure full coverage: the Smart car. And since the Smart car is cheaper than anything in your top ten, I must humbly submit to you that you need to do your homework better in the future and stop relying on Kiplingers bogus data.

I guess if you have an extra $40,000. sitting around with interest that would be the cost.

When are you going to stop using Kiplinger for an automobile magazine?   This a waste of your space and your readers' time.  Get a real car magazine to do your articles.

Over 5 years I figure a Nissan LEAF (after govt incentives) will cost about 30k over 5 years putting it into the top 10 cheapest cars. Was it considered in this analysis?
