When you get stupid, and say, "Most Japanese cars are built in the USA." You're doing your best impersonation of a consumer parrot.
The USA built cars you are talking about were designed and developed in Japan. And the profits from selling them to brain-dead Americans goes BACK to Japan...Besides, most of the sub-assemblies are manufactured in Japan, like the engines and transmissions. So the cars are only "assembled" here.
Hey Bobby Olsen, Most Toyota's and many of the so called "rice burners" are actually made in the US.
So are Mercedes Benz, Nissans, and Hyundai.etc. Please do a little research before bashing these companies as
they employ a lot of Americans.
SUV owners.... don't worry... I drive a 4 door Hybrid Full Size that gets 40MPG+. I laugh at you crying at the gas pumps when I see you every month when I finally fill up. Last time I bought gas was 27 Feb. and it cost me 20 bucks. SUVs have to be the biggest waste of space ever. Only good for getting fast food from McDonalds or so fat people can fit in a vehicle.... Get a truck, van, or a full size car. Whens the last time you went off road? NEVER.
Gas is never... **NEVER EVER** going to hit below 3 dollars again. Wake up. or get ready to dump even more of your hard earned money at the pump. Once Iran farts in our direction.. GAS WILL BE 6 Dollars+ per gallon.
