Please. Some of these cars are built in America, and besides, most "American" cars and trucks are made in Mexico, and Canada.
It is dirt cheap to have a 4 cylinder that will last 5-12 years, then a 6 cylinder or 8 cylinder. that won't go past 5 years. You don't need to have over 135 hp. Your not a race car driver. a Every day person just needs a reliable inexpensive vehicle. These are them.
Now if you want to be picky then ignore this and do your own search.

My Honda Accord had over 200,000 miles on it when I decided to get a Toyota 4-runner for my dogs and country lifestyle (not country gentlemen either: red rock and mountains). It now has nearly 200,000, but runs perfectly and I am in no hurry to buy anything else. The leather interior, the nuts, bolts, and the rest are still in great shape. This is definitely more than I can say for five of my American vehicles, one of which was a Buick Omega that had only 50,000 miles and no one would even take it on a trade in; I left it on a car lot and walked away. I haven't had great fortune with all my foreign vehicles, however. I had an Audi that had an electrical problem that they never could fix. Sailing down the highway, it would suddenly die; this happened often enough that my insurance company threatened to cancel me if I kept it. My 4runner gets 26 mpg on the highway, less in town, and less in the cold of winter, but it beats digging up the money for a new one. When I do, it will be a Honda or a Toyota. My daughter loves her Nissans.

These are some of the ugliest cars on the road and I (at 6'4") probably don't fit into. Where are the high effieciency cars that us above average guy fit into? The old sports cars had more leg room, but not any more. What gives, don't the designers think that big guys like sports cars? I had to build my own so I fit.

I do believe we will keep the ones we have paid for and fix what needs fixed a lot cheaper than a new one, I have a 81 ford courier with 95,000 miles, runs like a new one insurance isn't bad and no one wants it ha ! The sweet wife has a 2004 Dodge PU 4 door, four wheel drive, big hemi, that thing will pull a load of live stock or anything else you want to haul. The youngest daughter ask me one time if I let my wife buy the PU and I said I do not tell your mom what to buy, the daughter was worried about that hemi and the gas mileage, I told her mom doesn't worry about that kind of stuff I buy the gas ha ! No New Cars Here, Happy Trails.
